2019-2020 Registration Policies
Registration opens at 5pm EDT on Wednesday September 18th and will be open until all spots are filled. At that point, registration moves to a first-come, first-served waitlist. Registration has filled quickly in the past, and we anticipate the same will happen this year. Exceptions will not be made for any teams, even if they have attended in previous years.
The registration form will be posted on our website, umichscioly.org, and only on our website.
The 2020 registration fee is $80 and is due by November 1, 2019. If your registration fee is not received by this date, your spot will be offered to the first team on the waitlist.
Teams which drop before December 1, 2019 are eligible for a partial refund, and their spots will be offered to the first team on the waitlist.
After December 1st, 2019, registration fees are non-refundable. Teams on the waitlist may opt to join the emergency waitlist if they determine it to be feasible. The emergency waitlist teams may be offered a position any time between December 1st, 2019 and February 12th, 2020, so they should be prepared to attend if offered the opportunity. To join the emergency waitlist, they should submit their registration fee to hold their spot and ensure they have all paperwork ready. Teams on the emergency waitlist who are not offered a spot to attend or opt to drop the emergency waitlist will have their submitted fee fully refunded.
Teams must submit a full roster by January 15th, 2020 or their spot will be offered to the first team on the emergency waitlist.
2019-2020 Check In Options
Teams can check in in one of three ways:
Teams will provide all signed forms morning of. Check-in staff will validate forms and provide day-of information, including schedules, lanyards, and the team room location.
Teams scan and submit all signed forms before February 8, 2020. Tournament staff will validate forms and provide a confirmation ticket. On the morning of competition, teams can pick up a pre-prepared bundle with schedules, lanyards, and team room location from a special expedited check in line. No physical paper copies of forms are required.
